Frequent questions

This therapeutic process focuses on personal transformation. Initially, the clinical psychologist analyzes the problems that led you to seek help and your functioning in various areas. He then develops an intervention plan using psychological techniques to promote your well-being.
People seek therapy when they experience persistent and significant discomfort that affects their ability to carry out everyday activities, such as work, study, family and social relationships, as well as enjoyment of free time. Also, when they want to explore, understand or resolve current or past issues.

We do not impose a fixed number of sessions in therapy, as the duration depends on your individual needs. Together we decide when to finish based on your achievements and your well-being. We typically schedule a weekly session.

For example, individual therapy usually lasts around 15 sessions on average, but this can vary depending on the reason for the consultation and its severity. Remember that significant life changes often take time and effort.

In therapy, you and the psychologist have a confidential dialogue. We encourage you to talk openly about your problems while asking questions to better explore them. The goal is to help you understand what causes you discomfort, find solutions and make decisions for your life.
